Restaurant serving friendly, gourmet recipes and "canaille" cuisine with meat on the spit

In his restaurant, whose decor is inspired by the Parisian bistros of yesteryear, chef Paul Quetel has fun reinventing local cuisine. His recipes are convivial and generous, concocted with fresh, local produce. His rich, flavorful canaille cuisine is enhanced by spit-roasted meats. Crispy pig's trotters, herring and apples in oil, or rabbit royale. A vegetarian dish is also available: Paul succeeds in surprising with familiar dishes, while paying homage to our culinary heritage.

L'accueil est très convivial et l'ambiance presque familiale. La cuisine de Paul Quetel et son équipe vous ravira !!! La spécialité de la maison (le chou farci) est à tomber, la pièced'agneau rôtie très appréciée par ma compagne. La serveuse est souriante et efficace, de très bon conseil pour le choix du vin.
Un très bon moment passé, j'y retournerai avec un grand plaisir.

Un des chefs qui monte sur caen. Ris d’agneau giroles purée maison. Sauce exquise. Gratinée ( soupe a l’oignon ) de derriere les fagots. Petit vin blanc qui va bien avec. Je comprends sa place au dîner des chefs parmi mes meilleurs. Merci m’sieur !!!
