AUDITORIUM JEAN-PIERRE DAUTEL
Formerly the Grand Auditorium of Caen, the establishment took on the occasion of the launch of the 2012/2013 season, the name of the founder of the Caen Orchestra and then director of the Conservatoire until 1986 and died in 2000. Within this same Conservatoire of Regional Radiation (CRR), that is, right next to the city hall, this hall of nearly 900 places hosts many concerts most often classical music, including the concerts of the Orchestra and the major educational events of the CRR. However, it’s not uncommon for a jazz group to come and go roll and dinner. Sometimes dance has its place for the year-end galas of the local schools. For the smallest shapes, his little brother, the 120-seat auditorium is right next door.
