Theatrical walks, an interactive, playful, and instructive way to discover the Castle of Caen.
Theatrical walks are expected to excite those usually dragging their feet during traditional guided tours. Alongside a guide, but also and especially with a dozen trainees from the Cité/Théâtre, the public will go on the steps of Guillaume by surveying the castle, his dungeon, the hall of the Echiquier… To the programme: history, architecture and evolution of the fortress, all in a playful and lively way. And to make the walk even more dynamic, participants will be asked to change the scenario throughout the visit. Interactive, playful and instructive: a smart way to discover Caen Castle!
