In the centre of Caen, this house is a window on Italy and its delights since 1982. Passionate about cooking, the brother works (almost day and night) in the kitchen upstairs, where we had the privilege of smelling the sweet smell of simmering sauces. While the sister welcomes you behind a counter that almost makes you want to buy everything. The Botte, from north to south, is worthily represented: fresh pasta, hams, Abruzzo salami, cheeses, olive oils, wines and other specialities. A key word: authenticity.

Une de mes adresses favorites à Caen, les pizzas sont tout bonnement excellentes ! Au-delà de ça, il y a énormément de choix. Tout est fait maison et surtout avec le cœur. Le vendeur est très sympathique, la est boutique charmante, et les prix sont corrects, que demander de plus ? Une épicerie incontournable pour qui aime la cuisine italienne.

Je suis parti rejoindre la Savoie il y a maintenant presque 2 ans. Et c'est le seul endroit qui me manque de Caen... Les plats étaient si bons. Et les patrons si adorables. J'ai hâte de remonter juste pour prendre mes pâtes carbonara favorites????
