To cross the island, you have no choice but to borrow one of the lift bridges (the other is in French Marigot). This bridge rises to allow boats entering or exiting the lagoon. During peak hours and in season (because more boats use it), the wait can be a bit long. The best option is to avoid access to the opening hours.
