Completely renovated hotel in the heart of the medina, with well-preserved antique features
This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the medina. If from the outside, the place is not the most engaging, the inside may surprise you! Entirely renovated and run by a very friendly team, the Mauritania is a very good option for tight budgets. Some old elements have been preserved, such as the beautiful floral tiles in the corridors. The only real disadvantage is to reach it with luggage: taxis can't drop you off in front and you'll have to walk and climb a few steps to get there.
