CAFÉ COLON
In "Tea in the Sahara", Bernardo Bertolucci's film adapted in 1990 from his novel of the same name, Paul Bowles appears in this mythical café, frequented by many Spaniards at the time of the international zone. Ideally located opposite the Alcazar cinema, between Grand Socco and the Kasbah, its terrace is occupied from early morning by strollers who have come to spend a few minutes or a few hours in front of a mint tea or a pressed orange. Inside, the TV broadcasts the Liga matches, which are very popular here, especially when Real and Barça play each other.
