ACHAKAR BEACH
A very nice beach of a few kilometers of fine sand to enjoy the sun, between Cape Spartel and the Caves of Hercules
Between Cap Spartel and the Grottes d'Hercule lies a long, pretty beach known as Achakar. Three kilometers of fine sand where you can soak up the sun. Here, the Mediterranean gives way to the waves of the Atlantic. Off-season, the place is peaceful, but as soon as the fine weather arrives, the beach is quickly saturated. You can rent a deckchair, plant your parasol, take a ride on a camel or grab a bite to eat in the gargotes. The atmosphere is more of a family affair, although the youngsters love to crank up the music or go quad biking.
