ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH
St. Andrew's Church, with its Andalusian Moorish architecture and decoration, is the burial place of Walter Harris
Saint Andrew's Church, founded in 1880, is the symbol of a cosmopolitan city where all religions live together under the sign of tolerance. The arch of the church is engraved with a prayer in Arabic and its cemetery houses the graves of Walter Harris, a famous English journalist and David Herbert. The architecture and decoration are of the Moorish-Andalusian type, some of the ornaments were made by Fassi craftsmen who hold the secrets of the country's craft heritage. On Sunday mornings, the church is frequented by the faithful.
