FORBES MUSEUM
Forbes Museum turned palace, a private residence designed to host visiting dignitaries and heads of state in Tangier
The Mendoub Palace was once owned by the billionaire Malcolm Forbes. He transformed the house into a museum to house his collection of toy soldiers and re-enact the great historical battles. There are more than 100,000 figurines that unfolded the military strategy of Diên Biên Phu or Waterloo. When Forbes died in 1990, the palace became the property of Morocco. Today, the palace is a private residence for dignitaries and heads of state visiting Tangier. François Hollande stayed there in 2015 during an official visit.
