THE BAB EL-BAHR TERRACE
A terrace linking the Kasbah square and the ramparts, with a breathtaking view of the Strait of Gibraltar
The terrace is accessed through the Bab el-Bahr gate, (Gate of the sea) which links the Kasbah square and the ramparts redeveloped in 1920. This terrace is unique because of the unobstructed view it offers over the Strait of Gibraltar. You can also see part of the port of Tangier and the Atlantic; Spain in front is sometimes so clear that you think you can touch it with your finger. From the terrace, you can also see the Marshan district in a single glance.
