Shows, conferences, the festival of Asilah testifies of a great intellectual swarming since 40 years.
The International Cultural Moussem of Asilah was born from the will of a politician and an artist to make dialogue between cultures while restoring life to their village. In 1978, the year of the first edition, the hippie revolution was in full swing and Asilah was only a small town without drinking water. It became a meeting place for intellectuals and artists. For 40 years, they have been taking over the city for a month of shows, conferences and "happenings" around a theme.
