RAMILA BEACH
The popular Las Cuevas beach to the south of Asilah, with its many straw huts, stretching out in an endless ribbon of golden sand.
A few kilometers south of Asilah begins a long, wild escape that leads all the way to Larache. Battered by winds and ocean waves on one side, backed by sand dunes on the other, Las Cuevas beach stretches out in an infinite ribbon of golden sand. Locals also call it Plage des Criques, Paradise Beach or Plage des Grottes. After a long, poorly-maintained track, which is very (too) busy in summer, you'll reach this beach, where numerous paillotes await you, serving fish and sardine tajines.
