4 km from Asilah, turn right onto the Sidi Mghait track (not always in good condition, so bring a good vehicle) which winds through sunflower fields, century-old olive trees and douars to the Atlantic. Surfers gather here as soon as the waves roll in high, foam-fringed loops. There's a peaceful, wild and slightly hippy atmosphere that gives you a great sense of freedom. In summer, the chiringuitos are packed with sardines and tajines. Deckchairs for chilling out await you.
