The Casa de los Dragones, a real landmark in the small Spanish enclave, with an eclectic architectural style
A true landmark in the small Spanish enclave, the Casa de los Dragones reflects an eclectic architectural style. It was commissioned by the Cerni Gonzalez brothers, one of whom was mayor of the town. The four dragons on top of the building were originally made of bronze. Dismantled and lost in 1925, they were reproduced in resin and fiberglass in 2006 by local artist Antonio Vallejo. The building served as the headquarters of the Falange party in revolutionary Spain in 1936. It became a residence again in 1946.
