A classical building of eclectic style, housing the Institute of Studies on the city of Ceuta, and the museum of the city.
This classical building of eclectic style was designed to be a pavilion when it was built in 1900. It has hosted illustrious Spanish military figures such as Francisco Franco, Luis Carrero and Eduardo Saez de Buruaga. Today it houses the Institute of Studies on the City of Ceuta, the Premio Convivencia Foundation and the City Museum, which is classified as a Cultural Asset. The collections of the latter are divided into five rooms dedicated to the history of the city, from prehistory to the present day, and two rooms for temporary exhibitions.
