HACHO MOUNT
Visit to the discovery of Monte Hancho, with a stone staircase, and a magnificent view of the Strait of Gibraltar
To visit Monte Hacho, ask a cab to take you to the peninsula because the walk is quite long (4 km to the San Antonio hermitage). You can be dropped off at the parking lot of the playground. Following the steep climb, you will reach a stone staircase on the left that takes you to the San Antonio estrada. From here, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Strait of Gibraltar. Further on, the Jebel Moussa dominates the city. The 17th century chapel is the setting for a festival in honor of Saint Anthony on June 13.
