ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM
This museum focuses on Andalusian traditions, as well as aspects of the arts and traditions of the Jbala country and the Rif.
First known as the "Muslim home", the museum was located in the Bennouna House. From there, he was transferred to one of the bastions of the Tetouan compound, in Bab el-Okla. Transformed into a museum in 1948, the former 19th century fortress is the guardian of Tetouan's customs and traditions. It will be a reconstruction of the Tetouani home, with an explanation of its traditions and their cultural and social meanings. The museum is also interested in Andalusian traditions, as well as some aspects of the arts and traditions of the Jbala and Rif countries.
