MUSEUM OF FOLK ARTS AND TRADITIONS
Museum with musical instruments from the Andalusian tradition in Tetouan, including castanets and tambourines
This museum is located at Bab el-Okla, one of the gates of the medina. You can either cross it on foot or take the car and follow the Hassan II avenue that runs along the ramparts in the direction of Ceuta. The musical instruments on display show the Andalusian tradition of Tetouan, with castanets and tambourines. The rooms are interesting (pottery, kitchen utensils, mountain costumes, fabrics) but the indications are only in Arabic.
