Youth hostel in the medina with panoramic rooftop terrace and comfortable dormitories and rooms
Riad Baraka is a youth hostel located in the medina. The house is one of the oldest in Chefchaouen (it is 600 years old!) In 2007, Anne, the English owner, opened this hostel which offers nice spaces, a beautiful panoramic terrace on the roof, comfortable dormitories and rooms. It serves a very good English breakfast and excursions are organized to Akchour from the riad. It is the meeting point for backpackers in Chefchaouen. Beware however of the 11:30 pm curfew, there is no night shift.
