ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM
Museum located in Chefchaouen, presenting musical instruments, pottery, weapons, embroidery, wooden chests
Inaugurated in 1985, this museum is installed in the Kasbah. The Moroccan Ministry of Culture wished to highlight the formidable talent of the craftsmen of Chefchaouen. Musical instruments, pottery, weapons, embroidery, wooden chests tell of the precision, patience and passion of the craftsmen for their trade. The first two rooms are devoted to costume and weaving. The patio exhibits dishes and polychrome chests. The last room is dedicated to weapons, some of which date back to the time of the resistance against the Spaniards.
