Dabateatr is one of the most famous young Moroccan companies in the country. This collective of artists based in Rabat and headed by the talented Jaouad Essounani, director, author and playwright, defends a nomadic and independent theatre that raises issues closely linked to Moroccan society. A breath of fresh air in the Moroccan cultural landscape offering a sensitive and sharpened look at "our" world. The Dabateatr organizes festivals, meetings, readings, workshops, debates, concerts and shows, notably at the Bahnini Hall (in Rabat) but also throughout Morocco. A great opportunity to meet the new generation of Moroccan artists, who are still talking about them...
