KEDIMA BEACH
A superb beach in Safi, close to which stands a fortress built by the Portuguese and restored in red stone
Located 33 km south of Safi, this superb sandy beach, where the waves break on a natural dike leaving a lake-like basin, is occupied by numerous small fishermen's huts. Nearby stands a ruined fortress built by the Portuguese and restored in red stone. In fact, it was once a convent. The area is quite busy in summer, which explains the existence of a few bars and a campsite. Just before Souira Kedima, two deserted beaches are worth a stop, even if the wind is blowing hard.
