IMLILI SEBKHA
Morocco's most famous wetland, with pristine landscapes, inhabited by a variety of unique species of plants and fish
130 km south-east of Dakhla, accessible by 4x4, here is one of the most famous wetlands of Morocco, for its virgin landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see and its many pockets of permanent water in the middle of the desert. The latter are inhabited by various singular species of plants and fish, including the Guinea Talapia, which is usually found in West Africa. Some species, isolated in the water holes, adapt to their space by changing their shape or color. Once your feet are in the water, it's time for a fish pedicure!
