Asmaa thermal spring, in the middle of the desert at Dakhla, gushing hot sulphurous waters known for their therapeutic virtues
In the middle of the desert, the Asmaa thermal spring is still untouched by tourists. These hot waters, at around 38°C, gush out from a simple pipe that is directed towards you. Be careful, as the pressure is quite high, so hold on to your swimwear during this invigorating bath! The smell of putrefied eggs is not exactly pleasant, but the naturally sulfurous water is known for its therapeutic virtues, particularly for skin diseases and respiratory disorders. A good reason to let yourself be tempted!
