LE SAVO'ART FER
Workshop and gallery, featuring original, convoluted human and animal works in iron
Artist Abdelhaq El Youssi is interested in materials. He trained in art in Black Africa, and from his encounters came his inspiration. In 2006, he set up his studio and gallery in the Ourika valley, which is open to the public. His work often depicts humans and animals in original, convoluted shapes, using recycled materials, mainly iron. An established figure among Moroccan creatives, he is often solicited for street art events. It's all worth a stop along the way.
