This Berber carpet weaving house is a little lost in the narrow streets of Tizgui, but signs indicate its direction. If you can't find it, call someone to pick you up. In this multi-storey kasbah, you can appreciate the work of Berber women hand weaving carpets with living wool, perpetuating a tradition that dates back several millennia. The family has organized itself into a cooperative, in order to highlight its know-how. If you would like to know more, you can have lunch with the family.

Beautiful rugs, warm hospitality, excellent service
Our driver brought us here when we mentioned our desire to purchase a large Berber rug. The quality of the work we saw was outstanding. They had a wide range of styles and types in many sizes and showed us many rugs. The gentleman who helped us (husband of the woman who made our rug) spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful. We negotiated for the purchase of 2 rugs that were shipped DHL to the US very quickly. Shipping was included in the negotiated price and we watched them wrap the rugs right there. This Tuareg Rug is one of a kind, was tinted with all-natural dyes, and is very soft. We were very pleased with the experience and we love our rug.our
