In this end of harvest, dates are the queens in Erfoud! Tastings and camel races for 10 crazy days.

This highly recognised festival attracts thousands of visitors to Erfoud every year to taste the fruits of the harvest, attend processions and concerts. The Guetna or date festival is indeed intended to close the harvest. Very festive atmosphere. It is the occasion for folklore shows, camel races and other distractions. They also elect the queen of dates. The lucky girl is rewarded with traditional jewellery, but above all by the crowd of admirers who come to ask for her hand in marriage.
