The Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, with its zawiya, is now a place of pilgrimage and accommodation for pilgrims

Built in 1666, the burial chamber is of great beauty. The mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, one of the founders of the Alaouite family who ruled Tafilalet during the second half of the seventeenth century, has undergone several restorations. In 1997, the repair of the floors, mosaics and ceilings was entrusted to fassis craftsmen while the carpenters of Meknes gave back the doors their splendor. The zawiya is now a place of pilgrimage and serves as accommodation for pilgrims.

Le tombeau du fondateur de la dynastie Alaouite
Nous retrouvons avec cet édifice toutes les qualités des artisans marocains. Reconstruit en 1965 après avoir été détruit par une crue du Ziz, toute la grandeur architectural a été conservée. Promenade très agréable dans les jardins. Dommage que nous ne puissions pas entrer à l'intérieur, uniquement réservé aux musulmans.
