GRAN CAFE LIXUS

This café is a venerable institution in Larache. Its central position at the exit of the medina, directly on the Place de la Libération, constitutes an ideal stopover and even a place to visit. In the large room, nothing seems to have changed since the 1930s. The beautiful wooden armchairs in the purest Art Deco style, the Bechstein piano, the black and white portraits of Omar Sharif or other former glories, the old guitars and oud of collection hung on the walls give to the place a unique atmosphere deliciously old-fashioned.
