This exceptional lodge offers a complete change of scenery in a calm, relaxing atmosphere, with a discreet, attentive team.At Tagadert Lodge, Moroccan hospitality is lived as an art: by staying in this unforgettable place, you will be received with the greatest kindness to make your stay exceptional.Berber handicrafts are used in every room to create an elegant decor that justifies the term "ethno-chic" and characterizes the establishment particularly well. This simple, refined decor is exclusively local, as the Tagadert Lodge team works exclusively with local craftsmen: potters and glassmakers for the tableware, women's cooperatives for the blankets, rugs and household linen, basket makers for the chandeliers, local carpenters for the custom-made Atlas walnut furniture, ironworkers, etc....Tagadert Lodge is home to many artists' paintings and decorative pieces sourced from Marrakech flea markets. Respect for traditional architecture is also a key element of this exceptional home: these days, very few craftsmen in Morocco still work with traditional architectural elements such as earth and wood, while ensuring the solidity of construction (unfortunately, the earthquake of September 2023 demonstrated the fragility of village constructions in Morocco). Tagadert Lodge is fortunate to work with a local craftsman trained in both ancestral and modern techniques, and the term "ethno-chic" also applies to the architecture of the building: several interconnected courtyards, different levels, traditional wooden ceilings, thick walls that keep out the cold in winter and the heat in summer, tadelakt floors, interior and exterior fireplaces, for a simple, authentic decor.

Welcome to Tagadert Lodge, our little Berber paradise just 24kms from Marrakech! Are you looking for a change of scenery and a taste of authentic Morocco, while enjoying a comfortable experience in a tastefully renovated Berber country house?

For a weekend, a few days or a quiet vacation, in one of our 5 rooms or privatized, our small team will welcome you with Moroccan hospitality. We offer 5 rooms (including 2 family rooms) decorated with local crafts, fiber-optic wifi, air conditioning in summer, central heating and fireplaces in winter, outdoor swimming pool (unheated), gardens, patios and terraces with desert and olive grove views.

Our cook Bouchra offers traditional Moroccan menus every day at our table d'hôtes, open only by reservation and to guests staying at Tagadert Lodge (meals and drinks extra).

Tagadert Lodge is a quiet, restful place. However, we're close enough to Marrakech to be able to spend a day there and live for a few hours to the rhythm of the bustling red city. We're also just 3kms from the Agafay desert, famous for its quad biking, buggy and camel rides. We'll be happy to recommend a reliable service provider for a unique experience. The Atlas Mountains are 1h30 away, and we can recommend guides for treks in the mountains.
