RIAD PERLE D'EAU
Magnificent riad with soundproofed rooms, on the ramparts of the medina, featuring a terrace with breathtaking views
This is what we refer to as being on the waterfront! This beautiful riad, on the ramparts of the medina, offers a breath-taking view from its large terrace where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast. At high tide, the waves break below your windows. But no worries, you will sleep in peace because the rooms are soundproofed. These are decorated with taste and elegance: youth paintings of the host and zelliges decorate this cosy nest. Special mention to the bedding, they are truly exceptional. The reception is warm and friendly, and the whole team will do their possible to make your stay perfect. For those who want to relax after a good walk, the steam room welcomes you for a memorable massage, and you will find a whirlpool with free access on the terrace. It is one of the best places in Essaouira.

Man bekommt sogar leckeres Rührei.
+ The loveliest cat: she’s very sweet and playful (maybe she can have more toys somewhere in the common area?). She was so active that all the photos I have are a bit blurry.
+ We were staying at the ocean view room: the view is simply breathtaking! The room itself is of a decent size.
+ There are heaters in the bedroom and the bathroom: very practical for winter evenings.
+ Location: a nice area of medina with some interesting shops and cafes nearby (The Sisterhood is just around the corner and highly recommendable).
- Not the comfiest mattress in the world (it’s still okay to sleep though).
- The breakfast could be less sweet and more fruity/veggie, but, I guess, it’s more of a local tradition in general
