Less impressive than those of the Atlas, the CLA studios are nevertheless among the interesting sights in Ouarzazate. Created in 2004 by a partnership between Dino de Laurentiis and Sanaam Holding, the studios are made up of (among other things) two large film sets, twenty or so dressing rooms for make-up, and a storage area for the sets. For example, there are outdoor reconstructions of Mecca and Jerusalem. Having suffered from the Covid years, CLA Studios is moving forward again in 2023.
