I had to me to several times in the setting of organised receptions group, or an invitation by one patrons of the place, and had never been disappointed.
For my first Sunday visit in family, it was a large disappointment, especially concerning the service.
When we arrive, us request not to take our jackets. Then you offers a cocktail us house aperitif, which is in fact digestive (Alexandra using Baileys). Then nobody is concerned with we while we expect to our order (whereas the restaurant is still almost empty). Then, when arrive varied starters, going back the first three for us, then more nothing, so much so that I claim at least twice if we have not been forgotten.
The following arrive with a good time delay while we finished the first for a long time. " Service espagnole" i am said. I know, but the EC is intolerable including time, and I request to cancel. A later, the waiter reapplies nevertheless with starters that it drops on the table, and tells me that the cuisine is overflowed (because meanwhile the restaurant is full). Of course, an old couple patrons, for the famous name, which sit table next door is served with the largest of (" Bienvenu Monsieur B ......), but not us. When one waiter is then, still well later, I asked him to talk to the owner. It is the person of warm resort (a chef row perhaps, whose clothing presentation of lets that it is not any particular responsible). The owner - that I know of view does not show himself, and I doubt that it was present there on this day. I make the last entrances. Then dishes arrive: 4 are left, but the waiters are only 5 minutes to remove the bells later. It is still 5 minutes later that they bring the 5th dish. The final bouquet, when it is another table, you can watch waiters making a caterpillar singing happy anniversary, while the first lime carries a cake with candles. I had asked by making the morning if they birthday cake: " cela" is not; also, me. So I call the responsible pseudonym, telling me that it is guests who bring the cake. I retort him that I commissioned question, and it tells me that people know that happens like. I must conclude that I am not considered a true guest... Despite my multiple remarks and complaints, nobody has his excuse himself, or us this would be only one café. When we leave the " manager remains stoically behind its bar...
