SACRED HEART CHURCH
Go there and contact
A remarkable church, with superb bell towers, built by the architect Paul Tournon in Casablanca.
Specializing in religious buildings, the architect Paul Tournon built this church between 1930 and 1953. Its reinforced concrete structure is a typical late 19th century technique. It was spread by Le Corbusier, who made it his favourite material. The bell towers are built in the spirit of a minaret and their geometric patterns are inspired by Arab-Muslim art. Inside, the stained glass windows set in reinforced concrete make up columns of small coloured squares that cast their shimmering glow on the walls during the day.
