Despite the name "Coffee House", it is one of the most refined restaurants in the capital where the wealthy class likes to meet. Opened in 1942, time seems to have no hold on the premises. Still the same woodwork, the same thick carpeting and the impressive crystal chandelier that floats above the room. The menu, deliciously old fashioned, offers dishes drawn from the Raj's repertoire: sole meunière is served alongside tandoori chicken. For those nostalgic for a time that those under 20 can't even imagine.

En phase avec l'ambiance surrannée de New Delhi, joli décor pour ce qui en France correspondrait à une brasserie. Mais surtout une très belle carte, là encore un peu comme dans les bonnes brasseries parisiennes, pour un tour culinaire de l'Inde.
Même pour les palais les plus fatigués par la cuisine indienne, une vraie bonne surprise.
Très bon rapport qualité prix.
