SHRI DIGAMBAR JAIN LAL MANDIR
Early temple replacing a temporary temple, a place of worship housing a bird hospital.
When Shah Jahan built his capital, he invited merchants from the Jain Agrawal community to come and settle there. He had them give them land at the bottom of Chandni Chowk and authorized the construction of a temporary temple. The present temple dates from the early 19th century. In addition to being a place of worship, it houses a bird hospital at the rear.
To visit the temple, one should take off shoes and remove all leather goods.
