The tiny shop, run by a young Sikh who speaks excellent French, offers the best teas, chai and spices in the area. Saffron, of exceptional quality, fetches unbeatable prices, nutmegs are sold in their shells, and vanilla beans bursting with seeds will perfume your desserts and extend your vacation. You'll surely be offered a masala chai, and if you succumb to this beverage, don't forget to take the store's business card, with the recipe written on the back.
