BISSAU PALACE HOTEL
A very popular hotel with tour operators, with a richly decorated courtyard and pleasant rooms overlooking the forecourt.
This imposing residence was built at the beginning of the century by the Maharaja of Bissau. It offers a quiet stopover in the midst of the tumult of the old bazaars of Chandpole. The reception is done in a courtyard richly decorated and furnished with armchairs. The establishment has about forty rooms that are a bit faded. The most pleasant are those overlooking the square. The main building can be visited like a museum: living room with parquet floor, collections of weapons, dining room decorated with mirrors. The address is very popular with tour operators and is often animated.
