The wife of maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II made this Art Deco mansion her own. Magnificently restored, it boasts a dozen rooms of insolent luxury. The bathrooms are marble, the beds are triple-thick and covered with fluffy pillows. Special mention must go to the decor, which is as well thought-out, cheerful and abundant as an English garden. The swimming pool and lawn tennis courts let you let off steam. On the catering side, the chef takes good care of his guests.
