14-hectare zoo featuring the state's wildlife (reptiles, felines, mammals), a major bird preservation center
This zoo of 14 hectares is an almost exhaustive inventory of the fauna present in the state. It is also a crocodile farm, or more precisely, an endangered species of Ganges River gharial. These reptiles are easily recognizable by their long, tapered snouts with sharp teeth. You can also admire tigers, axis or sambar deer, bennettii gazelles, lions, black panthers, hyenas, foxes or jackals. The Jaipur Zoo is also an important center for bird conservation.
