MUSEUM OF INDOLOGY
A museum full of treasures: crocodile-skin shields, manuscripts from the Mughal period, various maps and the Gayatri Mantra
This dusty and heterogeneous museum hides some treasures: shields made of crocodile or rhinoceros skin, manuscripts dating back to the Mughal period, various architects' plans, or even more surprisingly the Gayatri Mantra, a hymn to the sun, written on a human hair. In short, there is everything and anything, but a friendly guide will point out the most interesting pieces. This museum is not a must-see and is for those who really don't want to miss anything or who don't know how to kill time.
