Immerse yourself in the stunning surroundings of this 400 year old walled palace. The residence of the maharaja of Samode was transformed into a luxury hotel in 1985. You will find everything you need for a relaxing stay: 2 swimming pools, 2 restaurants, bar, spa... Do not miss the visit of the sumptuous darbar hall (reception room) richly decorated. The hotel staff will also suggest you a visit of the village which is really worth it. An absolutely beautiful place, highly recommended if your purse allows it.

Grande déception. La route pour y accéder est longue et en très mauvais état. La batisse est spectaculaire vue de l'extérieur mais le charme s'arrête là. Notre suite était propre et confortable mais aurait pu être dans n'importe quel hotel, nettement moins belle celle que nous avions la veille au Samode Haveli à Jaipur. Et n'y allez pas pour le calme, l'hôtel est envahi par les cars de touristes qui s'arrêtent pour déjeuner. L'hôtel n'a même pas une salle à manger réservée à ses résidents. Quant à la soirée, nous avons eu droit sous nos fenêtres à une animation style Club Med pour un autre groupe de passage. Ne vaut pas le détour.
