CASTLE MANDAWA
Fort converted into a hotel in a royal palace blending Rajput and colonial styles with modern amenities
The fort transformed into a hotel arouses the interest of the visitors. Built in the 18th century at the time of the foundation of the city, the architects imagined a real maze of corridors and staircases, mixing the rajpoutes and colonial styles. However, the improvements required for modern comfort have caused it to lose much of its character. The exterior could use a serious facelift and the interior is singularly lacking in charm. In short, the royal palace is much less engaging than the haveli that the maharaja had built in Jaipur.

Interieur superbe !
Hotel un peu cher mais idéalement situé pour visiter les jolis havelis :belles maisons decorées de peintures appelées miniature qui appartenaient à d'anciens marchands de soie (on est sur la route des caravanes de la soie)
