BADAL GARH
Small Badal Qila fort housing a garden between its walls, 2 small temples (1 dedicated to Kali) and a statue of Sardul Singh
Located at the northwestern end of the Jhunjhunu bazaar, the small Badal Qila (Clouds) fort is much more impressive from the outside than the inside. It houses only a garden between its walls, two small temples, one of which is dedicated to Kali, and a statue of Sardul Singh, the one who took the city from the Muslims. The palatial part is in too bad state to be visited and besides the fort is most often closed to the public. However, the fort is often closed to the public, but in the late afternoon, the crenellated tower takes on magnificent ochre tones.
