TANK CHOWK HAVELI
The large haveli at the top of the fort, next to the traffic circle, is worth a visit to admire the frescoes
At the top of the fort, next to the traffic circle is a large haveli, Char Chowk Haveli, built around four(char) courtyards(chowks). Almost nothing of its exterior paintings remains, but the imposing building is still worth a look, if only for its stature. Ask the guard to lead you to the upper floor which still houses some frescoes, some of them of erotic inspiration. Be careful on the way up, as it is very poorly lit. Take your cell phone and its lamp to admire the frescoes.
