Lakeside hotel with richly decorated, carpeted rooms, some of which are less expensive.
If your ambition is to visit Rajasthan on a tour of historic establishments, you'll have no other choice than this hotel, better known as Baghchand Ki Kothi. Ideally situated by the lake, the view from this imposing white building is magnificent at sunset. Richly decorated, the rooms are carpeted, the furniture is antique and heavy pleated draperies frame the windows. For more sobriety, you'll prefer the less expensive rooms. The beautiful bathrooms are all equipped with bath and shower, but are singularly lacking in charm. Nice swimming pool and restaurant.
