Just 200 meters to the left as you leave the station, the Hotel Meera is a must-see. The owner regularly makes improvements to maintain his 42-room establishment. It would be perfect if as much effort went into maintaining the rooms. Ask to see several of them, as they're not all the same. Some have windows, some don't. Some are done, some not. Some are done, some aren't... But they all have large beds and comfortable bathrooms. An excellent restaurant with very clean kitchens and a bar are an added bonus.
