This large haveli has aged, but the tarnished interior paintings make the charm of the place. The rooms are spread over several floors, around an inner courtyard. They are small, the cheapest ones do not have an opening to the outside, but are still correct. On the top floor, a pleasant restaurant with a magnificent view of the lake offers a varied cuisine. The film Octopussy, with Roger Moore in James Bond, shot in Udaipur and which has made the city known all over the world, is shown every night.
