SACHYA MATA TEMPLE
Temple dedicated to Sachya Mata, very popular during Dusshera, accessible via high steps topped by silver-plated arches
It is one of the major Shiva pilgrimage sites in Rajasthan. The temple dedicated to the "Mother of Truth"(Sachya Mata) is very popular during Dussehra in October. For many devotees, Sachya Mata is none other than Durga, the Energy (shakti) of Shiva. You will also see pilgrims imploring the deity to grant them a child, or to thank her for a birth. Access to the shrine is via high steps topped with silver-plated arches. Inside, you will notice the dome decorated with finely carved nymphs.
